Beyond the bottom line: shaping a better tomorrow

This last year was all about making a positive impact beyond business. As holders of the Socially Responsible Employer certificate for our Slovenian companies, we focus on community welfare as well as on ethical, sustainable and responsible action towards the environment and society as a whole.

At the beginning of the year, a couple of our Braggsters laced up their sneakers and organized a running group to participate in the Wings for Life World Run, which collectively raised an impressive 5.8 million EUR for spinal cord research.

Later in the year, Slovenia faced unprecedented challenges when the country was hit by severe flooding. While we are grateful that our colleagues in Slovenia were safe, we recognize the profound impact on many others in the community. In solidarity with our Slovenian team members and their families, we stood united, urging our Braggers in Slovenia to take the time they need to participate in the cleanup efforts or to support their families, neighbors, and communities. As a company, we've also contributed to the Slovenian Red Cross, a crucial player in the ongoing emergency response. Together, we navigated these challenges and remain committed to supporting one another through thick and thin.

We finished the year on a much lighter note. Of all sports, Braggsters are the most passionate about basketball, so we were proud to support the basketball club KK Ilirija as a sponsor throughout 2023. Recently, they helped us organize our own tournament at Stožice Arena, the most prominent basketball venue in Slovenia and the home of the Slovenian national team. Thirty-two players competed in 3x3 games with many twists and turns, and the event was full of surprises and treats, such as presents for everyone and a visit from the legendary coach Saša Dončić.

Thanks to everyone, the past year was truly memorable and marked by significant strides towards the future. Let’s make the next year just as successful!
