Director of Sales

We’re in search of an ambitious Director of Sales to join our outstanding team and lead the expansion of our business. In this role, you will work both hands-on and strategically, and act as the company’s sales leader and expert of transforming connections into new business opportunities. This position is heavily focused on new client acquisition (80% sales), with some responsibilities in account management (20%).

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets;
  • Prospecting, lead generation and execution of new business opportunities within the iGaming industry to expand the company’s market presence for all products;
  • Approach and acquire new clients, building a robust sales pipeline;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders;
  • Establish and build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless execution of sales initiatives;
  • Develop a plan and strategy to increase our pipeline in EMEA / APAC;
  • Ensure the proper use of CRM (SalesForce) and tools to track performance;
  • Monitor & analyse sales performance and implement strategies for improvement where needed;
  • Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet our sales objectives;
  • Own the sales pipeline at every stage of development and monitor targets including overseeing contract negotiations and accelerate customer adoption;
  • Monitor market trends and providing regular competitor analysis;
  • Collaborate with marketing, Commercial Operations and Commercial Product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs and ensuring that all sales presentations are updated and fit for purpose;
  • Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers and industry leaders;
  • Be willing to travel frequently to meet clients and colleagues as well as attending industry events.

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience developing sales strategies for the EMEA and APAC region;
  • 7 – 10 of years experience in a similar role, preferably within online gambling;
  • Understanding of the iGaming eco-system;
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skill;
  • Leadership experience;
  • Demonstrated success pitching new business and building long-term relationships with clients;
  • CRM management experience;
  • Available to travel to conferences, industry/team events and to visit providers.
