Your responsibilities:

  • You will be part of the Finance Team based in Slovenia and supporting the smooth and effective operation of the Finance department in the Bragg Group;
  • Being part of a highly motivated team acting within a global and diverse environment;
  • Participate in the monthly and annual closing;
  • Prepare the Annual Statutory FS;
  • Prepare tax returns, work with 3rd parties/outside consultants for foreign Legal Entities;
  • Prepare monthly Accruals/provisions;
  • Review Journal Entries;
  • Reconcile Subledgers;
  • Perform internal controls;
  • Prepare monthly actual vs budget reports;
  • VAT return review and supervising;
  • Review of intercompany balances;
  • Lead a small team;
  • Compliance and Audit: Work closely with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and maintain compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards;
  • Perform ongoing account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

What you bring to the team:

  • Completed at least V. level of education, economics;
  • English fluency (spoken and written);
  • Good knowledge of Slovenian accounting standards and legislation in the field of taxes and finance;
  • Strong knowledge of Excel;
  • Good communication and organizational skills;
  • Good computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office tools (especially Excel and Word);
  • 3-5 years of comparable experience in accounting;
  • Accuracy, reliability, responsibility, responsiveness;
  • High level of self-initiative and proactivity;
  • A desire for personal and professional development;
  • Ability to work in a team, joy of work;
  • Desire and focus on continuous optimization of work processes;
  • Familiarity with Navision is a bonus.
